Biography[]

Angel Salvadore is a mutant with insectoid physiology. In 1962 she was an exotic dancer when she was discovered by Charles Xavier through the use of a Cerebro prototype, and was approached him and Erik Lehnsherr to become part of a mutant group they were forming for the CIA.
She later abandoned the group and became aligned with the Hellfire Club, who used her in their plans revolving around the Cuban Missile Crisis during which she engaged in an aerial battle with Banshee and Havok. Following Sebastian Shaw's death at the hands of Lehnsherr, she (along with the rest of the Hellfire Club mutants) chose to join him as a founding member of the Brotherhood of Mutants.

- Flight: Salvadore possesses a winged flight capability that allows her to travel at high speed through the air. She is capable of aerial deceleration to the point where she can hover in place, mostly stationary aside from the rapid beating of her insectoid wings. She usually hides her wings by having them fuse with her skin, in which they take the form of tattoos.
- Oral Projectiles: Salvadore can launch gobs of corrosive or explosive saliva to ranges that she might otherwise be able to throw small hand-held objects. The corrosive properties been been demonstrated to be sufficient to eat through stone and as a concussive blast the spitting attack produces a small concussive blast and gout of flame.
